Venus
Morning Sky

 Venus at midmonth at -4.1 magnitude, diameter 17.6", illumination 64.73%. On the 12th a waning crescent passes about 4° from Venus. Venus is located in the constellation Cancer the Crab. Venus rises in the east around 3:15 AM. Best seen just before sunrise. On September 12th look for Venus only 02°38'13" away from M-44 the Beehive open cluster. The crescent moon is only 04°26'10" from Venus.
