Apr. 11th, 2012 08:53 amThe RSHM LIFE Center on Beekman Avenue in Sleepy Hollow received a $50,000 grant from the New York Life Foundation. The RSHM LIFE Center serves low income, immigrant, non-English speaking families in the community. The grant funds will be used for the LIFE Center’s After School Program, which focuses on Kindergarten-6th grade children’s English language development, assists them with homework and school assignments, and provides tutoring. The program’s goal is to help build the basic skills which will enable these children to achieve their potential as individuals and community members. http://thehudsonindependent.com/node/2857
Любопытно. А я как раз встречаюсь с двумя членами RSHM в пятницу. Вот и поговорим.

Про RSHM в Тарритауне:
In the Eastern American Province, Marymount Convent, Tarrytown, NY, is the home of many of our retired or chronically ill sisters. An RSHM coordinator and her staff ensure a life-giving community for these sisters. Some of the sisters are actively retired and continue to do volunteer work both in the Convent or in the Tarrytown area. Others are cared for in our infirmary by a professional and dedicated nursing staff. All sisters at Marymount Convent continue the RSHM mission "that all may have life" through their ministry of prayer.
