In the 2011 U.S. News and World Report ranking of "National Universities", St. John's undergraduate program was ranked in the 1st tier of American universities at 143rd in the nation.[28] The School of Law was ranked in the 1st tier at 72nd,[29] School of Education was ranked 58th scoring 52 out of 100,[30] the Tobin School of Business was unranked.[31]
In the 2009 edition of Forbes Magazines America's Best Colleges, St John's was ranked number 504. [13]
In 2011, St. John's was ranked as a Tier One university by U.S. World News' college rankings.[7]
In 2009 edition of the Best 368 Colleges published by The Princeton Review, St. John's was named a "Best Northeastern College" and ranked 17th for "diverse student population" and 8th for "least accessible professors" .[32]
